Climate change and low-carbon economy

The world is going through an unprecedented climate crisis and the scientific community considers climate change one of the biggest global emergencies. As an answer, countries in the world have adopted the Paris Agreement on one hand aiming to curb CO2 emissions but also to adapt to the already present effects of climate change.

The European answer to the climate crisis is the recent adoption of the EU Green Deal. Europe has the ambition to become carbon-neutral by 2050. We study and explore possibilities for countries, region and cities to switch to a low-carbon development path through reforming their different systems, including transport, industry, agriculture, and more.
